Halloween Recipe: Spooky Banana Ghosts

Looking for a fun, healthy treat to make with your client this Halloween? These Spooky Banana Ghosts are the perfect mix of festive and delicious. Easy to prepare and full of character, they’re sure to bring a smile to your client’s face!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips (or yogurt chips)
  • Mini chocolate chips or raisins (for eyes)
  • Optional: Cheerios (or similar) for mouths
  • Lollipop sticks (optional)

Instructions:
1. Prep the Bananas:
Peel the bananas and cut them in half crosswise. If you’re using lollipop sticks, insert one into the flat end of each banana half for easier handling.

2. Melt the Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth and fully melted.

3. Coat the Bananas:
Dip each banana into the melted chocolate, covering the banana but leaving the top exposed to create the “ghost” shape.

4. Add the Eyes:
While the chocolate is still soft, press two mini chocolate chips or raisins onto the exposed part of the banana to form eyes. You can also add Cheerios for spooky mouths if you’d like!

5. Chill:
Place the chocolate-covered bananas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.

6. Serve:
Enjoy these spooky banana ghosts with your client as a fun, healthy snack to celebrate Halloween!

Tips:

  • For extra fun, drizzle more white chocolate or sprinkle some colorful decorations to give each ghost its own personality.
  • You can prepare these treats in advance and store them in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.

These Spooky Banana Ghosts are a sweet way to enjoy the season while sharing a healthy snack with your client. Happy Halloween!
