Richmond McMurray is the Chief Financial Officer at Arosa. His responsibilities include overseeing the finance and talent management functions, assisting the management team in implementing strategies, and driving growth and operational efficiencies, while managing risk.

Richmond graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2003 with a B.S. in Accountancy and from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School in 2012 with a JD/MBA. He began his career with KPMG, LLP at the Los Angeles office where he worked as an audit professional. He held several positions in the legal field, specializing primarily in securities law. Most recently, he was the Head of Legal and Compliance and acted as the functional CFO for a real estate investment manager. Richmond said he chose Arosa because he was enticed by the mission-driven culture and felt a strong sense of values alignment.

An interesting fact about Richmond is that he was once an amateur boxer. Outside of work: he enjoys playing baseball with his 6-year-old son, fishing, and Texas hold’em poker.
