A Partnership Rooted in Compassion: Arosa + Jewish Family and Children’s Services

How We’re Collaborating to Support Older Adults with Dignity, Independence, and Culturally Sensitive Care

At Arosa, we believe caregiving is more than a service—it’s a calling. That belief is why our partnership with Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) is so meaningful. Through their Seniors At Home division, JFCS has been a trusted force in community care for generations, serving people of all faiths and backgrounds while remaining deeply rooted in Jewish values.

We’re proud to walk alongside them in supporting older adults and their families across California and Utah. Our North Carolina teams, based in Durham, Raleigh, and Greensboro, also regularly collaborate with JFCS. Together, we’re ensuring that dignity, safety, and compassionate care are never out of reach, especially for those who need it most.

Who We Serve, Together

Our partnership allows JFCS to extend its reach through Arosa when their caregiving team is at capacity. Through this collaboration, Arosa provides in-home care for:

  • Holocaust Survivors receiving support through the Claims Conference
  • Older adults referred by JFCS whose care is funded by the organization
  • Families seeking peace of mind through trusted caregiving support

Every client referred through this partnership benefits from Arosa’s comprehensive approach and commitment to culturally sensitive, individualized care.

Why This Partnership Matters

JFCS is one of the most respected human services organizations in the United States. As part of their comprehensive network of care, the Seniors At Home program exists to help older adults live independently, with dignity and security. That mission aligns seamlessly with our own—and makes our collaboration both natural and necessary.

When SAH refers a client to Arosa, we commit to delivering:

  • Personalized Care Plans rooted in client needs and preferences
  • Experienced Caregivers trained in cultural competency
  • Ongoing communication with JFCS to ensure seamless, collaborative support
  • A deep sense of responsibility to uphold the dignity of every client, every time

A Shared Vision for Community and Continuity

At the heart of this work is a shared set of values: dignity, intergenerational responsibility, and the belief that community care is essential to the health and vibrancy of our society. Whether it’s helping a Holocaust Survivor remain in their home or supporting a family in transition, our teams work together with one goal: to ensure no one is left without support.
