Our History
Arosa is the nation’s largest integrated provider of care management and home care services in the United States. Our roots were planted over 20 years ago with the founding of LivHOME in California and Nurse Care of North Carolina in the late 1990s. These organizations joined forces as Arosa in 2018. And over the years we’ve welcomed more top notch agencies across the country into the Arosa family.
The “Arosa” name is inspired by the Arosa alpine village in Switzerland. “Arosa” captures a sense of peace, beauty, and community. After our founder’s great grandparents and grandmother fled Switzerland during World War II, this serene mountain town is where generations of their family have returned to reconnect, celebrate good times, and strengthen each other through tough times.
For our company, Arosa symbolizes the unification of organizations that are elevating care with a shared mission, values and vision.
